About Angela
Angela has spent many years exploring the power of Sound to
balance
energies and facilitate deeper connections to Self, Other and Place.
She qualified as a Sound Therapist with the British Academy of Sound Therapy, and uses Crystal and Himalayan Singing Bowls, Voice and Percussion ,to enhance physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
In order to deepen and extend her work, she has undertaken Practitioner training with Fabien Maman (Tama Do Academy), in New York and France, in the use of Sound, Colour and Movement to balance the subtle bodies and raise vibrational frequencies.
Angela has a Diploma in Counselling and also in Emotional Freedom
Technique. She is a Member of the British Association
of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and the British Register of
Complementary Practitioners (BRCP)
She completed three years training with the Academy of Infinite Tai Chi, in Tai Chi, Chi Kung, yoga and meditation.
Angela runs a range of workshops nationwide for adults and
children. These can include some or all of the following:
various elements of Sound Therapy (for self-healing),
including Voice Toning; how to play
Singing Bowls; relaxation
and meditation skills; simple Tai Chi and Chi Kung
movements;exploration of Colour for
healing; explanation of the Chakras, particularly their sounds and
colours and Singing for Health and Wellbeing.
She is available to run work-based seminars in Stress Management, as well as 'Fun Days' for companies using the above techniques.
She also sees people for individual treatments using Sound, Colour and Movement, as well as working therapeutically with clients' voices, to release blockages and help them express fully who they are.
She is a singer/songwriter and recording artist, and performs Soundscapes as Spiralsound.
